This Fur saver collar is made of Curogan. It is a copper-tin-alloy with a high copper portion and some additives. They make the material very strong but free of nickel. That is why these chains avoid a discolouration of fair haired dogs. After selling these products for six years, our experience show that still some dogs (less than 10%) do react on Curogan with a discolouration. A further benefit of Curogan is the fact it is absolutely free of nickel. More often nickel causes allergic reactions and skin rashes. That is the reason why it is recommended for dogs with sensitive skin. This Curogan Fur Saver Collar consists of welded parts only, that will serve your dog for a long time. All parts are made of curogan, so it increases its tensile strength.
